Our AFP-Ottawa Team is excited to announce Michael Tremblay, President and CEO of Invest Ottawa & Bayview Yards will be our special guest speaker to celebrate the launch of our 2017-2018 Program Year!

Michael Tremblay, President and CEO of Invest Ottawa & Bayview Yards will frame the burning platform of the 4th Industrial Revolution as it pertains to our region’s economic growth and prosperity position in the world. Invest Ottawa is in the center of strategically planning how our City will stand out from the rest in global markets. Michael will share a set of strategic concepts that are being developed through a rigorous multi-stakeholder planning process. Be part of the action as we develop our region's long term, strategic, competitive and differentiated advantage . . . you will need your smartphone to express your views!

Keynote Speaker:

Michael Tremblay, President and CEO, Invest Ottawa & Bayview Yards 

Michael Tremblay joined Invest Ottawa as President and CEO in March 2017. Prior to joining Invest Ottawa, Michael held the position of Vice President of the Public Sector for Microsoft Canada since April 2007. Michael led all of Microsoft Canada's public sector activities including sales to Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments, as well as to the Heathcare and Education sectors. Mr. Tremblay has 33 years of sales, marketing, operations and general management experience, with significant experience serving public sector clients. Prior to joining Microsoft, Michael worked for SAP as Senior Vice President, Public Services, managing the Canadian Public Sector market. He also held senior executive positions with Fujitsu Consulting, JDS Uniphase, EDS Systemhouse and Digital Equipment Corporation - across Canadian, American and Latin American markets.

Mr. Tremblay holds an MBA from Concordia University and is a graduate of Computer Technology from Algonquin College and the Director's Education Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors. From 2004-2017, Michael served as a member of Algonquin College's Board of Governors and Chair of the College's Foundation Board. Mr. Tremblay is an active member of the Audit and Corporate Services Committee and has previously served on the Advocacy Committee with the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

7:00PM - 8:00PM: Post-Event Reception
