Following on an informative session last year from Payments Canada, Kellie Johnson, Lead, Industry Relations and Sue Whitney, Head of Industry Relations will provide an update on the    multi-year payments modernization initiative including the significant benefits and opportunities for Canadian organizations. Learn about how richer payment remittance data will help streamline business processes and strengthen Canada’s competitive position as a global leader in financial services. Payments Canada's presentation will focus on how the implementation of a new payment infrastructure will support faster and more efficient payment interactions.

Lead, Industry Relations, Payments Canada

Kellie Johnson has a passion for payments and is currently Lead, Industry Relations with Payments Canada. She is responsible for direct engagement with industry participants to help shape the modernization of Canada’s core clearing and settlement infrastructure. Kellie has more than 20 years in payments and cash management at domestic and international banks, as well as at a financial technology firm focused on product management, strategy and business development in the corporate space.
