"Have questions about bank debt?  Want to understand how ratings agencies rate banks?  At this session, Tom Connell, Managing Director and Credit Analyst for Financial Institutions Ratings  at Standard and Poor’s will discuss S&P's updated global bank criteria, the key ratings drivers for the Canadian banks, and S&P's approach to contingent capital instruments.  In addition, Robert Palombi, S&P’s Managing Director and Canadian Office Head for Ratings Services, will highlight broader economic and financial conditions and discuss S&P’s views on Canadian macroeconomic developments as well as factors affecting the shape of the yield curve.”
